| 1951 | Established in Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto-shi as a non-ferrous scrap collection company, Matsubara Shokai. |
| 1959 | Changed the company name to Kimoto Shoten as a wholesaler of non-ferrous scrap raw material. |
| 1967 | Built new factory and moved to Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto -shi. |
| 1997 | Built new factory and moved to Minami-ku, Kyoto -shi. Introduced a baling machine of Excel Manufacturing in the U.S. |
| 2000 | Incorporated the business following the 50th anniversary of its establishment. |
| 2007 | Built new headquarter and factory at the current location, Minami-ku, Kyoto-shi. Introduced a new baling machine of IPS Balers in the U.S.(Currently, part of Harris Equipment) |
